I have a phenomenal idea for a Social Networking Web-Site in a huge yet untapped area, yet even though I have been to 2 major banks and 3 very wealthy individuals , they all tell me I have to jump through one high hoop after another , and after I do that and get the site running and preferably profitable, then they would be glad to talk to me again. They say things like " Everybody has an idea" and " I'd rather buy your company at 100 million then to give you the 4 million now." My answer to them is " Everybody does have a good idea, and I know ideas are cheap, but none of the ideas out there are as good as mine" and also " Why would I need you then I need your 4 million now " Does anyone know of any visionary people or firms out in the world now who might want to get into a really great idea early ?

	Thats great advice Thats what I have been doing, bit Im at the point that perhaps I may have top really ratchet it down and eat sh++ for a few years Im noty afraid of that but its tough ! BTW I just created an Internet& Tech category Seems like you know ur stuff please feel free to start some topics I look forward to it !

	I can't speak for others, but if I had a great idea and faith in it and myself, then that is exactly what I would do. I would start there and then borrow and beg as needed once i outgrew that infrastructure. I don't have any world changing ideas, so I have to make due with a real job. It seems to me that there is a lot of daylight between $500 and $4,000,000. How much of that $4,000,000 are you planning on using to pay yourself and how much do you really need for development. My guess is that you are just another subprime risk trying to get over on some stupid lender. And as far as the comment about having nothing else to do but write code, isn't that the commitment required in order to create a success. You should read about Mark Cuban, and the sacrifices and 24 hour days and 7 day weeks that he endured for years building his company before he finally became an overnight success.
